Therapeutic RidingTherapeutic Riding was our reason for starting this farm in 2006. Our instructors have successfully completed Phase 1 and Phase 2 with PACTH (Pennsylvania Council for Therapeutic Horsemanship) at Wilson College. We provide riding instruction for children and adults with emotional and physical disabilities. |

The physical benefits of Therapeutic Riding include improvement in balance, coordination and muscle strength in an environment far different from a physical therapy gym. |
| The emotional benefits may outweigh the physical. The horse acts like an equalizer and facilitator for
those with disabilities. The horse is non-judgemental and works as a team member. The student learns communication skills and
responsibility working with the horse and our team. Self image, attention span, self-confidence and motivation usually improve.
